When I became involved with the GuateMaya Alliance, I discovered a powerful truth: the lack of secondary education is one of the main reasons so many young people from Guatemala leave their homes in search of opportunity. This realization motivated me to act, and now, I’m inviting you to be part of the solution.

GuateMaya Alliance, a nonprofit founded just after the signing of the 1996 Guatemala Peace Accords, has been dedicated to transforming lives through education for over two decades. Today, we are launching a campaign to provide 200 scholarships for students, establish reading clubs for 100 school-aged children, and train 20 teachers in Project-Based Learning—innovative methods proven to elevate the quality of education in rural Guatemala.
